Hey there - very basic entry as I've already done my social blog type thing for today at Wordpress, and there's no need to regurgitate it all here, just mosey on over to [link] and take a read if you'd like. This is more of a work schedule style journal.

First of all I saw an idea on someone's Flickr where they essentially took a self portrait every day for a year, to create a story of that year and to share their life through photography. I thought it would be an awesome idea to try; and some could be abstract or of me and other people etc. The only rule would be that I have to be in the photo somewhere. Its a good way to build up a body of work, get more camera practice, but most of all to create a photo journal of a year in my life. I think I might start it before Christmas actually, I just need to make sure that when I start it, I keep it going and don't give up. Thats been story of my life when it comes to ideas and things, until now anyway.

Second I've been learning a few songs and trying to constuct my own - so I'm going to start doing some Youtube recordings where I sing and play guitar or keyboard at the same time. Not only is it all practice but MAYBE I'll FINALLY be able to get a band going, I have one other guitarist, and I'm thinking of taking up bass in the new year.

Thirdly, I have a project going with my friend where everytime we meet we present a new theme to go away and make work of - the current theme is 'Gunslinger'. He's more of a musician and drummer so he's focusing on that, while I'm arguably a better writer than an artist, but I might dabble in both. Then hopefully what we make can be stitched together to create something good to look at or watch.

Anyway, Penny Pub Quiz tonight. Wasn't there last week and they lost the music round, bwhaha. Maybe this week we shall win, second was good but not good enough.
